Lauren is a mission-driven public health leader with over 20 years of experience advancing health equity and reproductive justice across California's healthcare safety-net. She has deep expertise in strategic program development and expansion, partnership building, and leadership development, with a career-long focus on strengthening access to high quality healthcare for all.
As a Principal Consultant at Elevation Health Partners, Lauren brings her safety-net leadership experience to support clinics and community-based organizations as they navigate organizational change, program design, and strategic planning. She partners closely with executive teams and program staff to build sustainable systems that improve health outcomes for the communities they serve.Karis has a strong background in community care coordination and system-level transformation, including contributions to community information exchanges both in San Diego and nationwide.
Lauren is an alum of the Clinic Leadership Institute as well as a senior leader at HealthForce Center at UCSF, leading the program through its final three cohorts. She has experience in clinic operations, program design, policy & advocacy, training, and a certificate in Organizational Development.
Outside of work, Lauren loves spending time outdoors with family and friends — whether she's cheering on Angel City FC at a soccer match, playing ultimate frisbee on the beach, or grinding through a workout with her friends at the CrossFit gym.
